An eager beaver

Beavers were introduced to Tierra del Fuego and have run amok, causing immense damage, even if you do have to admire their engineering skills. I saw lots and lots of dams, but left Ushuaia without seeing an actual beaver. But my luck was in today. I stopped for a call of nature on the highway [on the way to Rio Grande] and saw a bird on a log. I went to the car to get the camera and noticed the water moving and there he was. I just managed to get this shot. You can see his long tail - I think this is the first beaver I have seen in Argentina.
