Our first rose bloom

It's been another busy day - missed out on lunch today, so was starving by 3pm. I'm pleased this week is over - it has been very hectic. Hopefully next week will be so much better.

This wee flower is the first rose to bloom. A lot of our roses will not flower this season as the bushes were 'burnt' from a couple of unexpected frosts, just like our grape vine was.

Farmerboy has been busy today drilling in turnip seed for a summer crop. He got home at 6.30pm, so after a 5.00am start and also no lunch, he too has had a very hectic day. Why is life so busy?
