Beauty and the Beast!!

No not CBLinks and myself!
We had a very enjoyable afternoon yesterday discussing this and that.
We finally agreed that "this" refers to things near at hand, whereas "that" is more distant.
I'm feeling a bit shattered today.j
I had sent off first drafts of my book "Charlie's Creative Cooking" to a number of publishers.
Today, I received rejection slips from all of them.
I cannot repeat here what four or five of them said, but some of the less offensive comments were:
"You should not be allowed within ten feet of a cooker again"
"Perhaps a career in preparing pig swill awaits"
And
"You are to fine dining what David Beckham is to sumo wrestling"
