Hands...Pottery Hands

We took off this morning for a craft show. The Made Here craft show. All Floridians.

It was a nice show, but very small. Maybe 20 artists. Lisa was tempted by, (and gave in to) some homemade toffee. 12 bucks for 8 ozs. THAT"S 24 DOLLARS A POUND!! But...oh...it is good!

Then we went to the local art center, where I watched a couple of potters. One man, and one woman.

At this point I was going to go into a story right out of the movie Ghost. The scene where Demi Moore is pottering in Patrick's dress shirt. Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers suddenly playing, a light kiss on the small of the neck, and then 4 hands working the potters wheel, etc., etc.

But, nobody believes my stories. (With my luck, I just would have got a face full of clay/mud.)

I finished up the day by getting my clown bike (a folding bike) out of our storage room, pumping up the tires, and taking a short ride through a nature preserve.
