Around Lake Union

It was such a cold, crisp, bright, colorful day, we decided a walk around Lake Union would be good. (with a stop for a bite to eat and coffee…) We're so lucky we can walk out our door and we have the time.....

The major accomplishment for the day, however, was sending off 700 slides to get digitized….finally! I know our deadline when I started the beginning of the year was our whole set this year …..this is only 1/3 of our slides (and I culled these down from 1900) and then there are our parents slides….but truly it has been fun to look at them—-and there’s still a little time left in 2014. Might happen. Might have to backdate a few for blip.....

And in honor of all those slides, I’ve saturated this photo of Lake Union from Gasworks Park on the north side just a bit, like some of our slides look…. :-) That was the only sail boat I saw and it was moving fast!
