The sense of sight
We drove to Magumba today a small country town on the swan coastal sand plains North of Perth, we reached a 10 klm red gravelled road lined by the yellow shrub called Verticordia Aurea or commonly called buttercup.
The name Verticordia is a term derived from an old Latin word, translated as 'the turner of hearts'
My blips today don't do what we saw today true justice, it was quite breathtaking to see this wildflower, it flowers from September to December, we were lucky to see such a spectacular sight today..
