Half way to Hay

And a little sneak preview of Clun Castle, in the pouring rain! We stopped here in the hope of having a walk and a view of the magnificent ruins of the Castle but the weather was vile, high winds and whipping rain, so we didn't feel like going too far and negotiating this slippery hill just for me to get the perfect shot, instead we voted for a pub with a roaring log fire .....

We didn't find one so drove on to our destination; arrived at The Swan at Hay (on-Wye, Herefordshire) still in the pouring rain but where we were welcomed with a complimentary Cream Tea and a roaring log fire!
