K concentrating

K sat through the first half-hour of her mum's 40th birthday dinner almost motionless and completely silent. She discovered her auntie's mobile phone and was totally engrossed.

Then she had a look around and found another little girl her age. They hung upside-down from adjoining chairs and had a chat. It seemed a strange language, but they laughed the whole time, so they must have reached some understanding.

It was a fun party.
