Montessori floor bed

Taking Ivy's mattress out of her cot and putting it on the floor worked rather well (or certainly it wasn't any worse than when she was in her cot). I got the worst night sleep yet because I kept panicing that the stair gate wasn't shut and waking up to go check. She did roll out of bed twice onto the floor, the first time she didn't even notice and both times she went to sleep the second I put her back on her mattress.

At 6.30 she woke up and cried, but she didn't get off her mattress so I went to get her.

On the way to playgroup this morning, I tripped up with Ivy strapped to my front. She was fine, I skint my hands and knees. Several cars stopped and lovely people helped us up. I felt quite shaken, so Ivy and I went for brunch together and had a bacon, egg and potato scone roll. It turns out Ivy quite likes potato scone so I didn't get much.

I kept Ivy up late so she'd be awake for Euan coming home, she had the longest bath ever (in the big bath) I think she was there for about 20 minutes.
