Ranger afternoon

I still need to choose my favourite photos from that fantastic Canada holiday but in the meantime I better backblip all those other blips.

We've been meeting up with a local Ranger from Newhailes so the young people can learn about the outdoors and do some fun wildlife activities too. Today's task was hunting for minibeasts. One of the young people found this amazing critter. He's a Devil's Coach Horse Beetle. He was about an inch and a bit long and raised his tail like a scorpion when threatened.
