Dull duvet day

I stayed in bed all day, because my chest infection isn't getting better and, silly though it sounds, I just didn't feel I had the strength to do anything else.

Watched some old stuff on DVDs and a film recommended by our WEA tutor, the 1947 B&W print of Miracle on 34th Street, which is a decidedly unconventional take on Christmas movies. Loved it!

Now about to cheer myself up with the Panorama special on Ebola. Let us never forget...

I Hope normal health will resume soon.

PS Is woodpecker's duvet cover really mono? Perhaps it's from the 1960s...
