Shiny New Toys

After taking a basic cooking class last month, I had to get a few new toys and gadgets for the kitchen. Some stainless steel tri-clad saute pans and some little prep bowls were a must.

Tonight I attempted to duplicate Rutabegorz's Jalapeno Cream cheese dip. Utter failure...too runny. Next time more jalapenos, more cream cheese, more garlic, less milk.

I also made some brueshetta. Toasted sliced bagette, mozzarella cheese, sliced grape tomato baked with olive oil, garlic and sage...very tasty.
