Laid up ...

The boats of Toward Sailing Club laid up for the winter, though today was mild enough (16ºC) at 1pm in a light breeze to make even me think that sailing would be possible. Having gone out in a puffa jacket over my shirt, I was boiling by the time I'd walked a mile and had to carry said jacket back to the car.

Still hideously dark at teatime, however ...
