The thin red and white line...

My office is currently slap bang in the middle of a building site, as they construct the new tram terminus and line all around us. Not kidding - right in the middle of it. We have days when desks shake as the piledriver gets stuck in.

As the heavy machinery is curently working less than a foot from the window I sit next to, they have very helpfully put up a line of these makeshift safety ribbons as the "5 inch warning".

Fellow Bippers, this is all that stands between me and an inattentive JCB operator on a daily basis...
