Rafters

Since moving to work in Corstorphine in April I've seen these rafters at the Youth and Community Centre pointing to the sky. It used to be a library (built with Andrew Carnegie's money) and I recall speaking there to a local group (on Canada) a few decades ago.

Fire destroyed it over a year ago. Recently I've sensed that something is starting not happen with the building - or it is beginning to crumble!

I hope it is the former. As the news today about the Glasgow School of Art fire shows it takes a long time for recovery to start.
