The reason I'm standing here @actnforchildren

I attended a reception tonight at the Scottish Parliament, hosted by Anne McTaggart MSP to celebrate 60 years of Action for Children in Scotland.

An uplifting event aided by a performance from young people from across Scotland who had benefitted from being supported by the organisation.

A phrase that let coming up was "The reason I am standing here is because" ..of the help from Action for Children staff.

Then lots of conversations and catching up with people.

The dramatic roof design also came into its own!

A good end to another busy day.
