Retail Therapy

Jenner's is an iconic Edinburgh department store. A bit like John Lewis, but with an International Festival attached!

They have the MOST wonderful sales - proper discounts!

I love to wander round the departments, especially at Christmas when they have a huge tree and decorations, however not the most accessible - too many stairs and lifts that only stop on some floors. I always remember trying to push a buggy around the floors when on maternity leave.

I imagine that this lovely old building was used for holding stock for the Princes Street flagship, but has diversified into self storage recently.

....and I can't help but call it 'The Suppository' whenever I drive past!

On the home front - we have accepted a verbal offer for my mum and dad's house. Not as much as she would have thought it was worth, but a nice family. We did our best Phil.
