Student protest today. As always, the march assembled outside ULU in Malet St, just next door to Birkbeck.
Fortunately the demo was largely peaceful, with no repeat of the violence after the 2010 march. So why is it that the papers seem intent in focusing on the few who caused disruption?
They do have a point. It is wrong that universities have become businesses. One of the reasons I'm glad I'll be out of it by Christmas.
