Old sunset

I cannot tell a lie. This is a photo of an old photo, as you can probably tell from the fuzziness. I came across it a few weeks ago while sifting through the drawer of old photos trying to find funny or embarrassing ones for Gill to make a collage for her husband's 70th.

The photo was taken one New Year, probably about 28 years ago (judging by D#2's silhouetted pigtail) on the beach at Troon with Ailsa Craig in the distance.

There was a change of plan today: June came for morning coffee instead of lunch, because her daughter-in-law is in hospital with appendicitis and June wanted to visit her this afternoon. The shortbread and rocky road was washed down by the coffee. The soup has gone into the freezer and I had some of the mackerel paté for lunch.

The furthest I have ventured was to the gates of Freuchie Mansions to bring in the emptied wheelie-bin. Exciting stuff!
