Liverpool Philharmonic Hall

4.5 miles. Across Parliament Street and I'm into Hope Street. Past McCartney's old school and at the half way point between the 2 cathedrals is the Philharmonic Hall. The Orchestra has been in amazing form this past few years and we have been treated to the complete Mahler cycle as well as the Shostokovich cycle of symphonies amongst other highlights. I've even followed them down to the Albert Hall for their performances at the Proms on a couple of occasions.
