Canada - Chute de Chaudiere
Wauw. This was such an amazing side.
We got the tip to go and visit these waterfalls. They weren't even in one of my books and I had not even heard about them.
They were stunning.
A beautiful site, with lovely fall colours, a bridge over the water and the possibility to get very close to the falls.
A lovely walk in which we spotted a few beautiful birds and squirrles.
The squirrles were even coming towards us to see if we had some food for them.
We drove to a diffirent waterfall were the bridge is exactly above the falls. An amazing site.
We enjoyed both waterfalls, but the second one was very touristy.
After all this nature it was time for a little bit religion as we drove to Saint Anna de Baupre. Another pilgrimage, but this time just as big and decorated elabrotly.
I was amazed by the integration of Indian Saints in the wall paintings.
The cathedrale was beautiful and it was nice to walk the 'kruistocht'. We even climbed the holy stairs that has small pieces of brick from all the buildings that Jesus would have been.
And the best part of this was that there was almost nobody at the cathedrale. At first we were even wondering if it would be open..
This made it special and strange at the same time.
