In the Chair...

I was chairing a roundtable event at the Scottish Parliament today, on the subject of young people and money, which is such an important and timely issue, particularly for young people who live in our more deprived communities or those who need more support.

My team had put loads of hard work and commitment into organising it in partnership with colleagues from the FSA, and were rewarded by a full turnout, lots of interest from MSPs, plus great contributions from everyone there. All that, plus stunning views across Salisbury Crags in the glorious afternoon sunshine.

There's an exhibition in the foyer of the Parly just now featuring a replica of a Pictish Throne carbed from wood - fabulous piece of craftsmanship. And, before you ask, no, I didn't sit in it!
