After a hard day's graft

I was out walking with hound junior this afternoon and chanced upon our local 'logman' Kevin, who is a really calm and centered chappie.

He had nearly finished his day's worth of 'splitting' and I loved the feel, texture and smell of all these off-cuts and sawdust in a pile on the ground.
