Tui at the feeder
It was raining this morning but that didn't daunt the tuis who came in a steady stream to the tui tea I had put out.
The birds are funny, in that they don't like to drink it if it has been diluted with rain and will stand there staring into the jar before flying off. As soon as I replenish it with fresh, they are back.
I never tire of seeing them at the feeder - although I don't rush with the camera every time now, and am happy to sit and watch. The camera couldn't have captured the hilarious moment when two birds arrived simultaneously from different directions and had a face to face slanging match. But I enjoyed it.
