Derwentwater shoreline

By the time I had moved into our cottage and done a bit of shopping I wasn't left with much time before collecting Jane from Penrith station.

I dashed down to the Derwentwater shore but unfortunately it started pouring with rain and as I was in a bit of a rush there were some water spots on the filter.

The sunlight on Skiddaw looked lovely though and I like the silhouetted trees in the foreground.

I was a bit late at Penrith but as luck would have it, so was Jane's train and I saw it going over the bridge as I came up to the roundabout over the motorway.
