In the Name of Love

Did I ever mention how amazing my kids are?

I'm not sure that I have, so today, I thought I'd tell you.

It dawned on me, that they aren't "my wee kids" any more - they are both all grown up, independent adults. Well as grown up as you can be when you have a mother like me.

But that is all grand. There is no need to be completely grown up all of the time.

Mum said to me today, "how are the kids"....

And I said, "They are grand, they are both away from home, living their lives and getting on with it".

And that is the truth.

And I'm good with that.

They know where we are, when they need us.
