The Kite Runner

Hubbie and I had a rare night out together tonight. Even more unusual was that we are going to see a play - our usual things to see at the theatre are musicals or stand up comedy. However, his step cousin, Ben, was playing the lead role in The Kite Runner so we thought we'd go and see it.

We started with a meal in Edinburgh first before going to see the show. Neither of us have read the book so weren't sure what to expect, but it was gripping and we both really enjoyed it. We met Ben outside the theatre after the show to say "hello" .... along with a few "groupies" who were waiting for him too, which was quite amusing!

Ethan is having a sleepover at the Foreveryoungs so we're going to hopefully get a lie in tomorrow!
