My big backyard

I never get tired of these views. That's the Rakaia River in flood on the left and the Wilberforce River adding it's volume from the right. The lake is Coleridge.

Definitely large

A great day in the hills today. A much better trip that a couple of weeks back. My orthotics are semi sorted. The right foot went well (the one I broke) but the left one suffered a bit.

Not too much wind, plenty of sun, good company and stunning country.

Definitely my happy place and I got to tramp it today for 6.75 hours :-)
