Floor

The day did not start well with for the family following a comment from Martin suggesting that nothing got done in the house until he was home for the weekend, and Sam sobbing, yes SOBBING that I asked him to unload the dishwasher!

My voice was raised just a tad and the family were made aware that I had a different opinion about who does all the chores.

Another day of re-arranging, clearing and sorting as we are having the kitchen floor replaced tomorrow. Here it is for posterity with Ben making the dog wait for the piece of cheese on his toe!

Tomorrow will be particularly difficult as a flooring compound will be laid that takes 6 hours to dry so no-one, cats included must go in the kitchen. And, as for the rest of the week ...with all this rain....the realisation that there will be no washing machine plumbed in is slightly depressing.
