November Coles Of Hay

It's been a beautiful sunny day and extremely calm all day too.

Well all my plans for today have fallen through. It was my niece's birthday party today and I was meant to attend but had to leave Unst earlier than planned due to illness. A fever started last night but seemed to be cleared this morning but by lunchtime it reared it ugly head again and had to head home. Missed the birthday party and may miss my staff night out tomorrow too, if it's not cleared up. An evening wrapped on the sofa with a blanket!

First thing this morning I was feeling fine and managed a walk with Sammy around Baltasound. Such a calm morning with sunshine and blue skies and a lot of folk out and about with the fine day. It's unusual to see coles of hay at this time of year, sure the hay must have dried but certainly be soaking again afer yesterday's rain. Taken in Baltasound, Unst.
