Standing Tall......

Look who I found at the airport, Giraffe No. 46 aptly named Monarch. She was surrounded by the school displays from Christchurch schools Harwood, Redwood, Breens Intermediate, Costwold, Casebrook and New Windsor from Auckland.

The artist of Monarch was Kay Joyce, a striking design, gentle yet with vibrance, I loved the chrysalis circling the nose. She can be found at the domestic bag collection area and can't be missed.

A quiet day after our exciting weekend of celebration, in fact it felt like Boxing Day with a summery breeze, plenty of left over food to snack on and everyone just taking it easy doing their own thing. Well that was until we had to get Daughter A back to the airport and then well it was just back to hubby and I again but we were promptly reminded it was only 4 weeks till C.......s!

My eyes are tired and sore so hope to backblip the weekend tomorrow. Thanks to everyone for birthday wishes to E for her 21st, it was lovely to have you all stop by.
