New Street Reflections

Work continues on the rebuilding of Birmingham's New Street Station - a huge improvement already on the old design, although a lot of people would say that wasn't hard to achieve. This reflective cladding is being used extensively; it caught my eye when I was in the crowd earlier in the year, making my way through the station. It has a distorting effect which I find slightly weird and unsettling, like looking in one of those fairground mirrors - will be interesting to see what it's like when completed. And somewhere amongst all those figures on the walkway is me, taking this.
