Wet 'n' Wild

It's Rory's birthday tomorrow and he's got a few things planned for the day so I treated him to his birthday activity today - wet n wild!

It is so much fun! We spent seven hours on the flumes and running up to the flumes. We left exhausted but after having so much fun and a lot of laughter. Rory managed to miss the inflatable ring entirely on one occasion, he shoved me head first down a small flume and we ended up with wedgies a lot. We mucked about in the wave machine and Rory got me to do the Kamikaze (which has a 60ft vertical drop). The best part of the day was going on the Black Hole after it got dark and the numerous laughs, falls and injuries we got on Calamity Creek.

We went to Frankie and Benny's for dinner before we headed home. After all the excitement of the day, a pizza was the perfect end to it. We collapsed into bed at half ten after we got back to the cottage we were that exhausted!
