Welcome To The World!

I had to scrape the car this morning and it was -1C for the first time this autumn. Work was busy but I was a little distracted as there was no news of C, which worried me a bit.

I left at 2pm and did some errands in Stony and then bought some plain wall lamps for my new bedroom from John Lewis.

I had a chat with J and found out that C went into hospital at 1am this morning but when I called him at 3.30pm he said he’d heard at lunchtime that it was all still going on. Poor C, I really hope and pray that she gives birth very soon now with the least fuss possible. I can’t help but feel a little anxious.

The plumber had obviously popped in as he’d left the light on and dirt on the carpet in my study! No heating yet though and it’s getting chillier out so he’d better get his skates on with the new parts…

Edit: I'm an aunty again :)) to a bouncing baby girl called Tilly weighing in at 8lbs 14oz with black hair and also given my name as a middle name. What an honour. I'm so touched. We're hoping to visit tomorrow but it may have to be Wednesday to give them a bit of space ... I'm over the moon :-D
