Sky silhouettes

After what seems like days of constant heavy rain and continuous moaning about it today turned out to be a corker...well, it was for me anyway! The top photo is the view to the east early this morning, the vapour trails are courtesy of the Gatwick flight path. The lower picture is the view to the west at 4.30 this afternoon. In between we've had glorious blue sky and sunshine!
What this has shown me is that I am indeed very lucky to have the wonderful silhouettes front and back and should, for one day at least, refrain from moaning!
