Golden Hour Goldfinch

Beautiful day but I spent much of it in bed. Last week at work many people had a heavy cold and were moaning about it, which I dismissed as being over dramatic. "It's just a cold..." I said.

Serves me right though as I've got it now and it is bloody horrible!!! This is no normal cold and I am humbled. Didn't feel like getting up on Sunday and when I did, I just lounged and watched the Grand Prix and finally got into the back garden before the good light disappeared altogether.

Luckily this goldfinch waited for me.
