Pot of sweet potato and chilli soup on the Aga by 10am, in preparation for a visit from my blip pal Sleepyhead (Peter).

Just as I was thinking he'd stood me up, he arrived and we enjoyed lunch and a long overdue catch up. Had lots of photography questions for him. This time I want him to teach me about ND filters and soft water shots. That's tomorrow's lesson though.

David got in from work and the eating started all over again. Stew and dumplings this time. First time I've made dumplings in years. They could have been lighter but no complaints from David or Peter, and we're all still alive so that's a bonus. :-)))
