Today's the day .......................... to catch the last rays

Because the town of Kendal is in a north/south valley - we often miss out on the glorious sunrises and sunsets that you might see elsewhere.

This afternoon, I couldn't resist climbing up the road out of town - and this was my reward. The last few rays of the sun just making it over the horizon - no doubt before they went off to put on a major performance in gladderscountry ........................
