Choices!

What the norm for me on Blip is this simple formula........
1 - Find an image that I like
2- Photograph that image
3- Write some reflection about it!

However on occasions (such as this), some words, or a thought will come to me and a desire to find an image to suit the words then follows: Today is such a day!

I have been thinking thru the choices that we make....choices that can have a positive effect on others...choices that also can have a negative effect!

This morning whilst flicking thru the "newsfeed" on Facebook, I came across 3 videos, that thru the choices that people made had such effects on others.

The first had a Christmas flavour to it, the second had a football theme running thru it, and the third was simply a series of images of a woman's face.

A three will provoke a reaction in you and I would suggest that 2 of them will be positive and one will definitely not!

How so much better it is to make a choice that will bring a smile to someones face - a simple card saying "that we are thinking of you in a difficult time!" - a surprise gift, a thank you!

But often the choices that we make can bring sadness - Words said out of jest "Oh the big man can take it!!" can have an impact - often not intended - on someones life in a negative way!

The way we treat people and how we react to situations involving others, is often how we would like to be treated ourselves - We bring a smile to others, because we like to smile oursleves!!

So today may our choices be ones that will bring some "light" into others lives and also the flavour of our decisions, bring sweetness and an enrichment to others!!

As for me...I will just decide which of these re-cycling bins is best to use!!
