maglev

so, i figured being home for an entire week meant it was time for another trip. so i decided to pack up and head to china.

arrived shanghai today - feeling pretty sick - the road is wearing on me as of late. oh well, the good and the bad, right?

took the
maglev into the city. mark this as a first - that is, first time i've been over 400 km/h on land.

afterwards, check into the hotel, shower, meet with colleagues for a meal, and then a little time to pass out. going to be a very busy week.
