Practice Nor'easter

I think I've said before that we typically get snow in January and February, not November.

Monday was 70f. Today we had a Nor'easter blowing up the coast. Luckily we didn't get the predicted 5-8 inches, but the threat was enough to make the kids come home from college late last night so they weren't stuck in college for Thanksgiving.

In the end we got about 3 inches of heavy, wet, slushy snow. Crisis averted. Snow drama over.

Time to move on to drama number 2...... the pool of water on the kitchen floor that seems to be coming from the waste disposal tonight. Grrrrr. A towel and a bucket will have to suffice until Friday. I am NOT paying Thanksgiving rates for a plumber!!!!!
