Out of frustration with my inability to put together good pictures of Lakewood, I took this picture standing next to an on-ramp to the freeway on the south side of town.

I don't really have a good reason to be frustrated - in the past month or so, I've put together 2 or 3 really decent shots, but human nature being as it is, it feels like I should be making better progress.

Whatev, I think it will go fine.

(edited to be B&W for monochrome August - this image has lovely color, but works OK tonally as well without it, I think. There's no question that this is a color image, and seeing it in black and white drives that home)
