Flashing
When I did my 100th entry, I set out a number of aims for my next 100.
One of those was to work with artifical light, and by that I meant the flashgun.
I'm not a fan of the built-in flash as the detail tends to get washed out - however, over the weekend, I managed to get hold of one of those off-camera hotshoe leads that will allow me to angle the flash from the side - or even the back - hopefully opening up loads of opportunities for striking photies.
Last night, I was experimenting for the first time, and was amazed at the potential.
I've posted this one, because it's a novelty for me that you can actually underexpose a flash picture.
Or, I should say it's been delicately exposed in an artistic fashion.
