Each time I walk past the hot nuts stall, I find myself singing the song, with who else voice but the Georgeous George Melly, ringing my ears. He would perform in Norwich a couple of times a year & I was always there : I loved his unique combination of humour, intelligence & wit. Sadly this is apparently the only recording of him singing this song on you tube but still worth a listen.
