Temporary
One Street: Market Square, Shipley #191
It is not often I come across someone quite as impeccably dressed as Peter here. I said to him that he was clearly not from Shipley, to which he told me, with much pride, that, no, he was from Keighley. Well, that explained everything! I think he was quite chuffed that his effort had been appreciated. Everyone else standing at this temporary bus stop was doing so in stony silence on another sullen slate grey day.
It has been a very tough week for everybody at the office so I took the whole team into Leeds after work for a bit of fun and a much needed unwind. We went ten pin bowling, followed by a wander around the city, some drinks and a very fine meal. It was great to get away from the office environment and be properly reminded of what a lovely, bright and talented bunch of people we have in the company.
PS For the record, the bus stand got taken out earlier this week by a reversing lorry. I feel a small sense of loss. I had taken a lot of photographs in there.
PPS Posting this from the office on another Saturday spent working, I am holding tightly to the thought that this current situation of mine is also only temporary.
