Autumn leaves

Today is our anniversary but W has a choir concert this evening so we decided to go out for lunch at the French Horn in Steppingley. A good pub with excellent food - definitely to be recommended. The road to the pub is fairly narrow and goes past some nice woodland; it would have looked lovely a few weeks ago before the leaves fell but I still rather liked the look of the carpet of leaves under the trees.
