Type

I got an invitation to a Linotype exhibition tonight at Havas in town. They were displaying all the reclaimed type drawings that had been saved from certain skip-death from the old factory in Altrincham - some dated from the turn of the century even.
It was really quite interesting since they were all hand drawn archives with scribbles & notes on them too.
I met up with Mike & Glenn, both there because of 1. Working at Havas and 2. Knowing practically every person in the room & having previous worked with Trevor Johnson, Havas' CD - who had half arranged the thing.
It was lovely to catch up with Mike again & hear all about what's going on with him & Jason.
Hope not to leave it so long next time.
