Wonder web.

This is in Dovecot gallery on Infirmary Street. The artist Shane Waltener tells me that is is not finished, that he intends to weave several more colours into the web and it will remain in the gallery for several months.

Me and C went for a cultural day today. The library. The museum. The Dovecot where we added some finger knitting to a 'contributions welcome' craft display. C's looked like knitting, mine looked like an improvisational bra knitted by a blind person from a poor description.

I would recommend a film called 'Marl Hole' where invited artists used the clay pit for a primordial exploration of one of mans earliest manufacturing substances. which translates as 'playing with clay'. It was brilliant.

Rounded things off with lunch in the Hatton memorial garden.

The sun fair shone, and we fair enjoyed ourselves.
