Sunlight on the Hillfoots

We were out on the road travelling to Loch Lomond when I took this photo. After a leisurely breakfast in Kinross we left early afternoon and travelled on the Hillfoots road toward Stirling. It was a cool crisp day but extremely bright and sunny, great for travelling. After getting lost trying to get around Stirling and stopping for lunch near Kippin we finally made it to Loch Lomond at dusk. Just enough time for me to have a swim in the pool before dinner! What a lovely hotel and tranquil location, I can't wait to see it in the daylight.
