Bedgraggled!

This rain soaked Kookaburra summed up this afternoon. The thunder, lightening and rain started mid-afternoon. The rain was still coming down when we drove into Blackheath for dinner with a very close friend who was passing through the mountains on her way to Sydney.

I must confess I left my "Blip Run" too late and was only saved by the poor little kookaburra who looked very wet and miserable. It made me wonder, where do the birds go in a storm???

On another note, it was great to sit back and watch the final day of the Australian Open Golf. It was a young American Jordan Spieth who won with a magnificent round of 63 (8 under par). It was a fantastic score, smashing the course record in incredibly difficult conditions. Great to watch!!
